Don Day Wyoming Weather Forecast: Saturday, January 13, 2024

Most of Wyoming is under a wind chill warning all day Saturday and overnight, with wind chills as low as -60 in northeast and north-central Wyoming. Many communities can expect several inches of snow overnight.

Central:   

Casper:  A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -50. Look for it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near -3 and mostly cloudy overnight with scattered snow showers and a low near -36. 

Lander: A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect with wind chills as low as -30. It should be mostly sunny today with a high near -3 and mostly cloudy overnight with snow showers and a low around -18.   

Glenrock:    A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -40. Expect it to be mostly sunny today with a high near -8 and isolated snow showers overnight with a low around -22.   

Southwest:   

Evanston:  A Winter Storm Warning is in effect with up to five inches of snow. Look for it to be mostly cloudy today with a high near 28 and mostly clear overnight with a low near 19.   Wind chills could get as low as -20.

Green River:  It should be mostly sunny today with a high near 23 and wind chills as low as -10, then mostly cloudy overnight with up to three inches of snow and a low around 13.   

Kemmerer:  Expect it to be mostly sunny today with scattered snow showers and a high near 20, then up to four inches of snow overnight with a low around 12 and wind chills as low as -15.

Western Wyoming:   

Pinedale:  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect with wind chills as low as -35. It should be mostly sunny today with a high near 12 and mostly cloudy overnight with scattered snow showers and a low around 1.   

Afton:  Expect it to be partly sunny today with afternoon snow showers and a high near 17, then foggy overnight with up to five inches of snow and a low around 11. Wind chills could get as low as -5.

La Barge:  Look for it to be mostly sunny today with afternoon snow showers and a high near 18, then mostly cloudy overnight with up to two inches of snow and a low around 5. Wind chills could get as low as -20.

Northwest:   

Dubois:  A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect with wind chills as low as -30. Expect it to be mostly sunny today with a high near 10 and mostly cloudy overnight with scattered snow showers and a low around -6.  Winds could gust as high as 26 mph during the day.   

Jackson:  It should be mostly sunny today with snow showers and a high near 15, then mostly cloudy overnight with up to two inches of snow and a low around 3. Wind chills could get as low as -20.

Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park: Look for it to be sunny today with a high near 6 and wind chills as low as -35, then mostly cloudy overnight with snow showers and a low around -10.   

Bighorn Basin:   

Thermopolis:  A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -40. Expect it to be mostly sunny today with a high near -6 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low around -24.   

Cody: A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -40. Look for it to be sunny today with a high near -5 and mostly cloudy overnight with a low around -21.   

Ten Sleep:   A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -40. It should be mostly sunny today with a high near -5 and partly cloudy overnight with a low around -21.    

North Central:   

Buffalo: A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -60. It should be mostly sunny today with a high near -10 and partly cloudy overnight with a low around -21.    

Sheridan: A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -45. Look for it to be partly sunny today with a high near -9 and partly cloudy overnight with a low around -23.   

Dayton:   A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -50. Expect it to be sunny today with a high near 44 and partly cloudy overnight with a low near 17.   

Northeast:   

Gillette:  A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -52. Expect it to be partly sunny today with a high near -13 and mostly clear overnight with a low around -22.   

Newcastle:  A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -54. Look for it to be partly sunny today with a high near -13 and mostly clear overnight with a low around -26.   

Upton:  A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -56.  It should be mostly sunny today with a high near -13 and mostly clear overnight with a low around -31.   

Eastern Plains:   

Torrington:  A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -45.  It should be mostly sunny today with a high near -7 and mostly cloudy overnight with a chance of snow and low around -21.   

Douglas:   A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -45. Look for it to be mostly sunny today with a high near -9 and mostly clear overnight with snow flurries and a low around -25.   

Guernsey:  A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -45. Expect it to be mostly sunny today with a high near -9 and mostly cloudy overnight with a chance of snow and low around -21.  

Southeast:   

Cheyenne:    A Wind Chill Warning is in effect with wind chills as low as -40. It should be partly sunny today with a chance of snow and high near 1, then mostly cloudy overnight with a low around -13.
