Mark E. Miller

Mark E. Miller is author of three books of historical nonfiction relating to Carbon County, Wyoming, and the American West. He received a bachelor's and master's degree in Anthropology from the University of Wyoming, and a PhD in Anthropology in 1979 from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He grew up on his family's legacy ranch in Carbon County then served thirty years as Wyoming State Archaeologist.  He currently lives along the meandering banks of the Big Laramie River in Albany County.
