Jimmy Orr
Jimmy Orr is the founder and executive editor of Cowboy State Daily.
Orr is a longtime journalist who was on the masthead at the Los Angeles Times and the Christian Science Monitor as the Managing Editor, Digital.
In the political arena, Orr served as a spokesman for the White House and directed digital strategy for President George W. Bush and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Prior to these positions, Orr worked for Wyoming Governor Jim Geringer and U.S. Senators Malcolm Wallop and Al Simpson.
He was also the co-founder of The Sports Show with ESPNs Woody Paige and Les Shapiro and was the executive producer of Clay Travis Outkick the Show.

Although it looked like the actors who appeared in the "Longmire" TV series would not be able to participate in this weekend's Longmire Days festival because of the Screen Actors Guild strike, the union gave them a waiver Thursday afternoon and the show will proceed as planned.

The 46-year-old woman who suffered severe injuries from a bison goring in Yellowstone last Saturday got engaged in her hospital bed in Phoenix. Her fiancé said the woman was launched into the air and did a couple of backflips before hitting the ground.
