Officials pulled a body from the river near Casper on Sunday afternoon, authorities say.  Â
A resident called law enforcement that day saying there was a body in the North Platte River near Evansville, said Kiera Grogan, Natrona County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson. Â
Grogan told Cowboy State Daily that deputies and Natrona County Fire Protection District personnel responded to the area. Firefighters conducted a water recovery and pulled the body out. Â
The district told media outlets it was a man’s body. Â
Grogan said the sheriff’s office believes there is no criminal activity tied to the incident. Â
The Natrona County Coroner’s Office has not yet identified the man publicly. Grogan said the agency is notifying the decedent’s next of kin and scheduling an autopsy.Â
