CASPER — A 25-year-old oil field worker allegedly told police “I feel disgusted for myself” faces eight felony charges related to child pornography in Natrona County District Court.

Angel Andres Jurado-Briseno, who lives and works between Casper and Colorado, was bound over to district court Thursday on eight felony counts of sexual exploitation of children, including six involving possession of child pornography and two involving intent to deliver child porn between Nov. 13, 2023, and May 14, 2024, according to court documents.

When interviewed by investigators after his arrest, Juardo-Briseno allegedly told them he was felt “disgusted for myself” and that fantasies about sex acts with young children is an “itch in my head.”

The Wyoming Department of Investigation’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began investigating Jurado-Briseno on Dec. 7, 2023, after getting a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The cybertip showed a Kik messaging app account user who had uploaded one file of apparent child pornography on Nov. 13. The image was of a nude female child sitting in a pose exposing her private parts to a camera.

“It was apparent to (the special agent) that there was no artistic or medical purpose for the photo aside from lascivious exhibition,” a DCI affidavit states.

Further investigation found 10 other cybertips for the same computer IP address that were geolocated to Greeley, Colorado. Also, that IP address yielded another “approximately 100 visually unique files of child pornography,” according to the affidavit.

Court documents say the images found allegedly showed adult male sex acts with toddler child victims, including one with a toddler bent face down over a bed and video of a male forcing an oral sex act on another child.

One file had a female child victim with silver duct tape wrapped around her head as a blindfold while two male adults committed sexual acts on her at the same time, court documents state.

Second Cybertip

Another cybertip from the Kik on March 27, 2024, was also traced to the same IP address and another 27 suspected images and video of child pornography had allegedly been uploaded, the affidavit says. The graphic detail of the acts depicted are disturbing.

The files were associated with a virtual private network to mask the IP address, and the user allegedly sent video from two of the files to another user via private chat message, the affidavit says.

A DCI search warrant for the specific Kik account user uncovered about 26 contraband child pornography images, including the files obtained from the cyber tip.

Further investigation led them to a Casper address that is used by an oil and gas company to temporarily house employees working the area. Workers were issued company trucks and computers, and investigators narrowed the trail down further to Jurado-Briseno, who was in the apartment during the time the pornography was uploaded.

Activity on the Kik account showed files were accessed from the Casper apartment from Feb. 26 through April 17.

After receiving a search warrant for Jurado-Briseno’s apartment and truck, DCI agents arrested him and asked him about what was found.

'Disgusted'

During an initial interview, court documents allege Jurado-Briseo admitted to having three Kik accounts and stated “he would interact with other Kik users where he would pretend to be a child seeking to be sexually victimized by an adult.”

Jurado-Briseo allegedly also told investigators he had been abused as a child.

“I will say I feel disgusted for myself. Cuz I know it’s wrong. It’s just, I don’t know. This itch in my head, I can ignore it for months and it just comes back,” Jurado-Briseno said, according to the affidavit.

The affidavit states Jurado-Briseno admitted during the initial interview to viewing and saving images of child pornography on his phone and said he usually did not share them unless, “I’m, like, roleplaying it.”

During the investigation agents seized a Samsung smartphone, laptop and a USB drive.

The six charges of sexual exploitation of children related to possession of child pornography carry a maximum penalty of up to 10 years in prison and fine of up to $10,000 or both. The two counts involving alleging sharing of child pornography carry a penalty of up to 12 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000 or both.

He’s being held at the Natrona County Detention Facility on an $80,000 cash or surety bond.
