Don Day Wyoming Weather Forecast: Thursday, March 16, 2023

It’s Thursday, March 16 – and the worst is over from this latest storm front. Watch out for sketchy road conditions over South Pass and through Ten Sleep Canyon this morning; along the east slope of the Big Horns; and some areas on I-80 between Laramie and Rawlins and I-25 north of Cheyenne. The southern end of the Wind River Mountains, the Bighorn Mountains, and portions of Natrona County may see a little snow into this afternoon, but additional accumulations won’t be much. Cooler temperatures will be in place.

Central:

Casper has a 30 percent chance of snow this afternoon, otherwise mostly cloudy, with a high near 31. Mostly sunny in Lander today, with a high near 29. Partly sunny and breezy today in Jeffrey City, with a high near 26 and wind gusts as high as 23 mph.

There’s a slight chance of snow tonight in Casper, otherwise mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Partly cloudy overnight in Lander, with a low around 12. Partly cloudy in Jeffrey City tonight, with a low around 8.

Southwest:

Mostly sunny today in Evanston, with a high near 24 and wind chill values as low as 4. Mostly sunny in Green River, with a high near 28. Sunny in Lyman today, with a high near 27 and wind chill values as low as 10. 

Mostly clear in Evanston overnight, with a low around 2 and wind chill values as low as -10. Mostly clear tonight in Green River, with a low around 7; breezy, with wind gusts as high as 23 mph. Mostly clear in Lyman overnight, with a low around 1 and wind chill values as low as -9. 

Western Wyoming:

Northwest:

Partly sunny and breezy in Ten Sleep today, with a high near 38 and wind gusts as high as 29 mph.

Mostly cloudy tonight in Cody, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 21; blustery, with wind gusts as high as 23 mph. North Central:
